Patterns

Trying not to turn the TV on this morning otherwise I'll get nothing done again!!  The Olympics is addictive!  Anyway I did manage to make a tag for Hels Sunday Stamper challenge week 217 where the theme is PATTERNS.

I went for a resist technique on gloss card.  The stamps are all from Tim Holtz's Bitty Grunge set - the small check is clear embossed and the others stamped with Jet Black Archival.  I swiped the Salty Ocean Distress Ink Pad over the card and let dry.  I rather liked the patterns so just added some True Blue Stickles, some fibres and a Hero Arts sentiment.

Hope you like and thanks for taking the time to look.  Any comments you leave are always much appreciated!

  1. Gorgeous tag Elaine! Love how you've used the patterns theme and the fact that you've kept it to three 'colours' - works so well. I love embossing so you've got my vote!
I can't stop watching the Olympics and have given up resisting quite frankly - it will be over soon and then there'll be nothing to watch!!

  2. Hi Elaine, I totally agree with Julie, your tag is gorgeous, why didn't I think of something like this, I agonised over this week's challenge. I love your tag!! I have used not feeling well to watch nearly everything - but in truth I would have done anyway, it has been wonderful for Britain and I have loved every minute. Anne x

  10. Wow that Salty Ocean is so vibrant - I have nothing like that at the moment. The black really stands out against this colour & I love the bitty grunge set. Fabulous. Sx
