Sunflowers Again

Well it's Summer and all the Sunflowers are out and as I had a card to make I thought I'd use my Sunflower Stamp from Oak House Studio.

I've stamped with Stazon on acetate and then used Alcohol Inks on the reverse - brushed onto the flower section and then dabbed to create the frame.  I've used Sunshine Yellow, Pesto, Red Pepper and Gold Alcohol Inks.  To finish I've fastened it to some gloss card with eyelets and then added to a 6" square yellow card blank.

Hope you like my bright zingy card!

  1. Beautiful colouring of that acetate Elaine (it's not easy to control these inks) and such a bright and cheerful end result. Makes me want to cling on to the remnants of summer even more! Hugs, Buttons x

  2. I love your bright zingy card Elaine, wonderful use of alcohol inks in creating that 'halo' of yellow around the sunflower and the orange border is fabulous and loving the hint of the gold too. Crafty hugs, Anne x
