Summer Rose

Here's my bright and cheery tag for Hels Sunday Stamper challenge week 202 with the theme of Summer Colours.

Well Summer to me means bright colours, seaside and flowers and as Lynnda from Oak House Studio sent me her new Rose stamp I thought it would be rude not to use it!!  I've stamped the Rose twice in Jet Black Archival and then watercoloured with Distress Re-inkers - Bundled Sage, Fired Brick and Mustard Seed.  The spare ink I mopped up to colour the seam binding.   I've used a Tim Holtz stamp for the sun's rays, edged the tag with Spiced Marmalade and finished with a Summer rub-on.

Well it's gone grey here again, so think I'll put this tag on the wall to brighten the place up!!  Thanks for looking.

  1. It is very grey here too but your tag will really brighten up your place, I love the way you have done the sun and Lynnda's stamp is lovely (I have her clematis stamp and get a lot of use out of it). Love the post below with the flag/lion and rose - very English and very lovely.
